On September 19, 2018 at about 2:39a.m., Officer Prusak of the Perry Police Department attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Village of Perry for an equipment violation.<\/p>\n
The operator of the vehicle, Curtis W. Harkins, no age or address provided, attempted to evade the law enforcement.<\/p>\n
A short pursuit ensued and ended on St. Helena Street in the Village of Perry.<\/p>\n
Officers charged Harkins with no\/inadequate plate lamps, failure to comply with a lawful order, use of a motor vehicle without interlock device, aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operator 3rd, unlicensed operator,
\nobstruction of governmental administration and unlawful possession of marijuana.<\/p>\n
Harkins was arraigned in the Village of Perry Court and was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $1,000 bail or $2,500 bond. He is to return to the Village of Perry Court on October 2, 2018.<\/p>\n
