On September 25, 2018 at 11:00 p.m., State Police in Albion were called to the scene of a motor vehicle accident on Sawyer Road in the Town of Gaines.<\/p>\n

Troopers found that Brandon Woodhams, 26, of Lyndonville was operating his vehicle south on Sawyer Road at a high rate of speed when he drove off the roadway striking a tree approximately five feet off of the ground. The force of the impact severed the vehicle in two with the front of the vehicle becoming engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n

Woodham escaped the wreckage with only minor injuries to his elbow. Troopers determined that Woodham was impaired by alcohol and placed him under arrest for DWI and moving from a lane unsafely. Woodham was later tested and found to have a BAC of .15%.<\/p>\n

Woodham is scheduled to appear in the Town of Gaines on October 10, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. to answer the charges.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
