Press release<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The City of Batavia Police Department reports that\u00a0the 10 year old victim of this morning’s house fire at 3 Vine Street\u00a0has succumbed to his injuries and is deceased. The other children\u00a0are listed in critical\u00a0condition at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester at this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Department is working alongside the City of Batavia School District to assist the family and members of the school community. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The investigation into the incident is still ongoing as the Police Department works with the City of Batavia Fire Department. No further information is available at this time. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone with information is asked to contact the City of Batavia Police Department Detective Bureau at 585-345-6444. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families and all those affected by this tragedy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
