<\/p>\nAt approximately 1:30a.m. on Thursday October 4, 2018, the Perry Police Department along with the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office responded to 10 North Center Street for a domestic incident in progress.<\/p>\n

Officers on scene determined that during the family dispute, Christopher E. McCrea Sr., 46, of Perry, displayed a knife in a threatening manner towards another individual. Officers subsequently arrested McCrea. One officer was injured during an altercation that ensued.<\/p>\n
The injured officer was admitted to the Wyoming County Community Hospital emergency room and later released with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
McCrea was arraigned in Warsaw Village Court on the charges of\u00a0 menacing 2nd, criminal possession of a weapon 3rd, reckless endangerment, assault 2nd on a police officer and obstruction of governmental administration 2nd.<\/p>\n
McCrea was remanded to Wyoming County Jail on no bail. He will return to Perry Village Court on October 30, 2018 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
