Officer Greg Smith was dispatched to the Perry Police Department Parking lot for a property damage accident on October 11, 2018. An investigation revealed that Patricia Privitera, 41, of Perry was backing her vehicle up in the police department parking lot, and her foot allegedly slipped off the brake causing her vehicle to collide with another officer\u2019s personal vehicle that was parked there.<\/p>\n

The collision then pushed the officer\u2019s personal vehicle into the Harding Plumbing and Heating Business at 34 North Main Street causing minor damage to a loading dock. \u00a0Further investigation revealed that Privitera was operating with a suspended driver\u2019s license. Privitera is charged with unsafe backing, uninspected motor vehicle and aggravated unlicensed 3rd<\/sup>.<\/p>\n

Privitera is scheduled to appear in Perry Village Court at a later date<\/p>\n
