On January 12th, 2025, the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office became aware of sexual assault
incident of a female victim that was 11 years of age at the time of the incident. This incident
began as a multi-jurisdiction investigation. With the assistance of Erie County Sheriff\u2019s Office,
East Aurora Police Department and Orchard Park Police Department, Joshua D. Davis, 33, of East Aurora, was arrested.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Davis was arrested on two counts of Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child (A-II
Felony). He was transported to the Wyoming County Jail on a Superior Court Warrant on
April 8th, 2025. The incident occurred between 2021-2023 in the Town of Bennington.
<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On April 9th, 2025, Davis appeared in front of Wyoming County Justice Donald O\u2019Geen, and
was committed to the custody of the Wyoming County Jail with bail set at $200,000 cash,
$800,000 partially secured surety bond and $400,000 insurance company bail bond. He is due
back in court on April 17th, 2025, at 10:30am.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
