Walter B. Hale Jr., 47, of Lockport Road, Oakfield, NY, is charged with DWI\/3 prior convictions\/designated offenses in 15 years, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st degree, unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle 3rd degree, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree and numerous traffic misdemeanors and violations, after a traffic stop and pursuit on May 24, 2025 at 1:43a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hale’s vehicle was stopped on Rt. 33 in the Town of Batavia for traffic violations. Hale fled the traffic stop in his motor vehicle and then led police on a pursuit that began in West Batavia on Rt. 33 and ended on Transit Road in Orleans County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hale was transported to Strong Memorial after the pursuit for treatment and then later transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
