Perry, NY<\/strong>\u00a0– Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of Caledonia resident Christopher L. Kervin, age 54. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A\u00a0Facebook group called \u201cDecoys Making a Difference\u201d went to the Perry Police Department and turned over a\u00a0binder to Officer Fleiss that contained a chat log between Christopher Kervin and who he believed was a 14-year-old female. In the conversations, Christopher asked the 14-year-old female to send inappropriate photos\u00a0and wanted to teach the female \u201clessons\u201d about her body. Kervin came to Crosbys in Perry to meet the\u00a0alleged 14yr old \u201cdecoy \u201c. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kervin, a former security guard for the Brighton Central School District, was\u00a0interviewed by the investigating Officer and ultimately confessed to the conversations he had with the female\u00a0who he believed to be 14 years old. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kervin was charged with Disseminating Indecent Material to Minors in the 1st Degree \u2013 D Felony.\u00a0He was issued an appearance ticket and is set to appear in court on July 8th, 2025, at the Village of\u00a0Perry Court.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
