On 5\/18\/2025, Anthony A. Bomasuto, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Bomasuto entered the victim\u2019s residence in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 5\/19\/2025, Dominic J. Dyer, 20, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Assault 2nd degree and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. It\u2019s alleged that Dyer punched another person multiple times in the presence of a child, during an altercation on Liberty Street. Dyer was also charged with Strangulation 2nd degree and Harassment 2nd degree in relation to a separate incident on East Main Street on 4\/20\/2025. Dyer allegedly strangled another person during a fight in the parking lot of the Mobil gas station. He was arraigned in CAP Court. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 5\/19\/2025, Lakeisha A. Gibson, 38, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree. Gibson was charged after allegedly violating an order of protection. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 5\/15\/2025, Jadeyn R. Goras, 22, of Alabama, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Conspiracy 4th degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Criminal Facilitation 4th degree. Goras was charged in relation to a burglary on Hutchins Street on 1\/12\/2025. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/27\/2025, Meaghan A. Conti, 38, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Conti was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, while being arrested on an unrelated warrant. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under supervision. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/29\/2025, Gary A. Rhim, 64, of Albion, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Rhim was allegedly found in possession of narcotics, during a traffic stop on 8\/12\/2024. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/31\/2025, Elise C. Maddox, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice. Maddox was located during a traffic stop and taken into custody on a warrant out of Gwinnett County Georgia. She was arraigned and remanded to the Genesee County Jail to await extradition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/30\/2025, Jacalyn J. Klein, 66, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Klein was initially charged with Harassment 2nd degree after an incident on East Main Street, where she allegedly struck another person. The warrant was issued, after she failed to appear in court. She was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/27\/2025, Willaim D. Gamble, Nefetiria L. Turner, Passiona C. McConnell, and Anthony J. Terry were all arrested and charged with Disorderly Conduct. The arrests come after an investigation into a fight on S. Main Street. All four individuals were issued appearance tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/29\/2025, Joey A. Evans, 34, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Evans threatened another person during an altercation on Jackson Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/26\/2025, Alicia M. Lyons, 45, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Lyons allegedly went onto the property of a business on Jackson Street where she had been previously trespassed. Lyons was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/23\/2025, Justine D. Wood, 38, and Austin A. Heideman, 27, both of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Wood and Heideman were charged following a traffic stop on West Main Street, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/22\/2025, Thomas J. Claffey, Lisa R. Richmond, and Carl T. Amesbury were all arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Claffy, Richmond and Amesbury were charged following a traffic stop and K9 deployment on River Street, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. Richmond was additionally charged with Criminal Use of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd degree and Amesbury was additionally charged with Tampering with Physical Evidence. All three were issued appearance tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/21\/2025, Amanda M. Garcia, 30, of Brockport, NY, was arrested and charged with Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs. Garcia was charged after a traffic stop on East Main Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/20\/2025, Dennis R. Peters, 68, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Menacing 2nd degree. Peters allegedly threatened another person with a metal pipe during an argument on West Main Street. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 6\/18\/2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/18\/2025, Brandon M. Kirby, 32, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Kirby allegedly took a cell phone from the victim in an attempt to prevent them from calling 911 during a domestic dispute. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/20\/2025, Anthony G. Cicoria, 56, of Caledonia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Cicoria allegedly stole a cowboy hat from the 7Eleven on East Main Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/13\/2025, Brandon G. Schlemmer, 56, of East Concord, NY, was arrested as a Fugitive from Justice. Schlemmer was taken into custody on a warrant out of Pennsylvania for Driving Under the Influence. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail to await extradition. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 5\/12\/2025, Thomas J. Claffey, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Claffey was allegedly found intoxicated and sleeping at the wheel of a vehicle. He was issued several traffic tickets and was scheduled to appear in court on 5\/27\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
