{"id":6528,"date":"2018-10-27T22:58:36","date_gmt":"2018-10-28T02:58:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/?p=6528"},"modified":"2018-10-27T22:58:36","modified_gmt":"2018-10-28T02:58:36","slug":"high-school-football-section-5-attica-will-play-letchworth-warsaw-in-the-class-c-final","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/index.php\/2018\/10\/27\/high-school-football-section-5-attica-will-play-letchworth-warsaw-in-the-class-c-final\/","title":{"rendered":"High School Football\/Section 5\/Attica will play Letchworth\/Warsaw in the Class C final"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/eVv3_o1enrk\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The Attica Blue Devils advanced to the Class C finals in Section 5 football by defeating the ER\/Gananda Bombers 21-14 at HFL on Saturday afternoon.<\/p>\n<p>Dawson Nelson recovered a fumble in the first quarter that led to a 39 yard touchdown run by Edward Strzelec to give the Blue Devils the early lead.<\/p>\n<p>In the 2nd quarter, the Bombers responded with quarterback Corwin Cleveland crossing the goal line and then Jayden Castrechini added two points to make the score 8-6.<\/p>\n<p>With 1:20 left in the first half, Castrechini made it 14-6 .<\/p>\n<p>In the 2nd half Attica made another fumble recovery late in the 3rd quarter that led to a Zachary Strzelec touchdown to make the score 12-14.<\/p>\n<p>Mason Compton added two points in the conversion and Attica tied the game at 14-14 with about 30 seconds remaining in the 3rd quarter.<\/p>\n<p>With :21seconds left in the game, Zachary Strzelec caught a long pass from his brother Edward to bring the ball down to the 10 yard line.<\/p>\n<p>Mason Compton then finished off the play with a run to the endzone with 17 seconds remaining.<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Gross intercepted the hail Mary pass by the Bombers and the game ended with Attica on top 21-14.<\/p>\n<p>The Blue Devils(5) will meet Letchworth\/Warsaw(3) next Saturday at 5:00p.m. at St. John Fisher in the Class C final.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Attica Blue Devils advanced to the Class C finals in Section 5 football by defeating the ER\/Gananda Bombers 21-14 at HFL on Saturday afternoon.
