On Friday, October 26th, State Police in Albion conducted a detail focusing on the sale of alcoholic beverages to minors by local convenience stores throughout Orleans County. Troopers observed cashiers at area stores selling beer to an underage individual without properly checking for identification showing the person purchasing the beer was 21 years old.\u00a0 The detail resulted in the arrest\u00a0of cashiers at four local stores with each being charged with a violation of section 65-A of the New York State Alcoholic Beverage Control Law.<\/p>\n
