On 6\/16\/2025, Gage R. Wetmore, 18, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Conspiracy 4th degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Criminal Facilitation 4th degree, and Petit Larceny. It\u2019s alleged that on 1\/12\/2025, Wetmore broke into a residence on Hutchins Street and stole property. He was extradited from Georgia and arraigned in CAP Court. Wetmore was\u00a0released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. He is due back in court on 7\/9\/2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/16\/2025, Markis R. Gaines, 28, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for and charged with Burglary 3rd degree, Grand Larceny 3rd degree, Criminal Possession of Stolen Property, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and Resisting Arrest. Gaines allegedly entered the Salvation Army on East Main Street and stole a laptop computer. When he was located by police, Gaines allegedly fled from police before being taken into custody. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. \u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/16\/2025, Patrick J. Gonzales, 31, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Grand Larceny 4th degree, Endangering the Welfare of a Child, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, Resisting Arrest, and Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Gonzales engaged in a physical altercation with another person and took their phone away when the person attempted to call 911. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. He is due back in court on 7\/9\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/17\/2025, Jennifer L. Stack, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a bench warrant. Stack was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. She is due back in court on 7\/10\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/17\/2025, Tia E. Schmieder, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Schmieder allegedly trespassed at Tim Horton\u2019s on Main Street, after being told that she was not allowed on the property. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 6\/24\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/15\/2025, Dante T. St. Louis, 29, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. St. Louis allegedly struck another person during a physical altercation on Bank Street. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 7\/8\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/12\/2025, Richard A. Miller, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Forged Instrument 3rd degree and Petit Larceny. It\u2019s alleged that Miller used a counterfeit bill to purchase items at Southside Deli. Miller was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. He is due back in court on 6\/26\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/12\/2025, Richard A Miller, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd degree and Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Miller refused to leave a home on Ellicott Street and struck another person. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due back in court on 6\/26\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Kessens called and sent text messages to a protected party of an order of protection. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 6\/24\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/13\/2025, Rebecca R. Fugate, 24, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Fugate was charged after she allegedly refused to leave the property of the ARC on Woodrow Road. She was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 6\/24\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/12\/2025, James R. Kosiorek, 32, of Basom, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Kosiorek was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine during an investigation at Speedway. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 6\/24\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
