On July 30, 2025, deputies were called to an address on W. Main Street Road in the Town of Batavia at about10:43p.m., for a reported sex offense.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After an investigation, it was determined that Jimmie J. Priestley, 55, of Batavia, NY, allegedly raped and held his hands around the throat of the victim.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Priestley was arrested and charged with rape 1st degree\/vaginal sexual contact-forcible compulsion and criminal obstruction of breathing\/blood circulation-apply pressure and was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing. He was held for a pending CAP Court arraignment on July 31, 2025 at 9:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Matthew J. Guglielmi, 20, of East Amherst, NY, is charged with criminal trespass 3rd degree after allegedly returning to the Darien Lake Concert Amphitheatre after previously being ejected from the concert venue on July 31, 2025 at 8:57p.m<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Guglielmi was released on an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Darien Court on August 12, 2025, at 4:00p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
