On 8\/7\/1015, Preston S. Daigler, 27, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 3rd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Daigler threw a brick through a car window during an altercation on East Main Street. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/5\/2025, Shane H. Zimblis, 54, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Weapon 3rd degree, Menacing 2nd degree, Aggravated Family Offense, and Unlawful Imprisonment 1st degree. It\u2019s alleged that Zimblis threatened another person with a knife, during an altercation on Hutchins Street. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/30\/2025, Jill M. Turner, 43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Contempt 1st degree. Turner allegedly almost struck another person with her car and yelled at the victim in violation of an order of protection. Turner was arraigned in CAP Court. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/6\/2025, David N. Hanna, 49, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Hanna was charged after police responded to a citizen complaint of an intoxicated driver on Pearl Street. He was issued appearance tickets and is due in court on 8\/26\/2025. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/4\/2025, Pietro Russo, 50, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for and charged with Assault 3rd degree. Russo allegedly injured another person by punching the victim several times during an altercation on Holland Avenue. He was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/6\/2025, Samuel J. Hernandez, 23, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on two warrants for Petit Larceny and Criminal Mischief 4th degree. When Batavia Police located Hernandez on East Main Street and attempted to take him into custody, he allegedly resisted arrest. He was additionally charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree and Resisting Arrest. He was arraigned in CAP Court. ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/31\/2025, Kaheem T. Phillips, 25, of Greece, NY, was arrested on a warrant. Phillips was issued a misdemeanor traffic ticket in August of 2023. The warrant was issued when he failed to appear in court. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. __________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/2\/2025, Brandon M. Weig, 37, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on charges from four separate criminal cases. Weig was charged with Petit Larceny for allegedly stealing items out of a vehicle on Porter Avenue, Petit Larceny for allegedly stealing merchandise from Quicklee\u2019s, Criminal Trespass 3rd degree after allegedly entering a fenced-in yard on Dellinger Avenue, and he was also arrested on a bench warrant, after allegedly failing to appear in court on charges of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Resisting Arrest and Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/3\/2025, Eddie L. Miles, 53, of Batavia, NY, and Zakara R. Jackson, 21, of Batavia, NY, were arrested and charged with Petit Larceny. Miles and Jackson allegedly stole merchandise from Kwik Fill on Jackson Street. Both were issued appearance tickets and released. _________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/1\/2025, Mark L. Farley, 56, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Farley allegedly damaged another person\u2019s phone during an altercation on Harvester Avenue. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 8\/12\/2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 8\/2\/2025, Ronald O. McBride, 35, of Brinson, GA, was arrested and charged with DWI. McBride was arrested following a traffic stop on West Main Street. On 8\/3\/2025, Jarrod K. Fotiathis, 30, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Menacing 3rd degree and Harassment 2nd degree. Fotiathis was charged following an altercation on East Main Street where he allegedly threatened another person. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
