About 50 riders participated in the ride that lasted about 4 hours. Participants enjoyed a lunch together at TF Browns for $10 each after the ride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;We planned one ride this year, and it was for Disabled American Vets, and while that ride was being processed, I had to visit a loved one who was dying (at Crossroads House). So, I came back to the group and asked them if they would do a second ride this year and here we go. I&#8217;m not the only one who has lost someone here, there have been a few of us who have been touched by Crossroads House. It&#8217;s an end-of-life facility and someday any one of us may need it,&#8221; says Kevin Zito Vice President of the Genesee Charity Riders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1080\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1920 \/ 1080;\" width=\"1920\" controls src=\"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/charity-riders.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong><em>Video-Genesee Charity Riders take off from Crossroads House on Liberty Street for their fundraiser ride on Saturday.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">15 patched members of the newly formed group led the ride from 11 Liberty Street with several stops along the way. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/2253230388407680\">(8) Genesee County Charity Riders | Facebook<\/a> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The groups next ride will benefit Shop with A Cop and is in the planning stages for late September or early October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Anyone who missed the ride today can always contact Crossroad&#8217;s House to make a donation. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.crossroadshouse.com\/\">Crossroads House | Comfort Care Home in Batavia, NY<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From left- Lisa Johnson, Tim Johnson\/President of Genesee Charity Riders, Jackie Swinarski\/Board Member at Crossroads House, Kevin Zito\/Vice President of Genesee Charity Riders.
