Work includes removing the existing bridge and installing a new precast three-sided<br>concrete frame structure supported on cast-in-place footings.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">During construction, Rose Road will be closed to traffic. A posted detour will direct motorists as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Eastbound traffic will be detoured north on Upton Road, then east on Pearl Street Road (Route<br>33), and south on Wortendyke Road back to Rose Road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Westbound traffic will follow the same route in reverse: north on Wortendyke Road, west on<br>Pearl Street Road, and south on Upton Road back to Rose Road.<br>The Department of Public Works appreciates the community\u2019s patience and cooperation as this<br>important project is completed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Press release The Genesee County Department of Public Works has announced that Rose Road in the Town of Bataviawill be closed beginning Monday, August 25, 2025, for the Rose Road Bridge Replacement Project.
