Huss, 33, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession 4th degree and menacing 2nd degree after allegedly menacing another person while he was in possession of a machete at an address on West Main Street Road in the Town of Batavia on September 17th, 2025 at 7:57p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Huss was transported to the Genesee County Jail and was held for a CAP Court arraignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Joseph W. Freeman, 41, of Batavia, NY, is charged with burglary 3rd degree and petit larceny after allegedly stealing $145.75 worth of merchandise from 4300 Veteran&#8217;s Memorial Drive in the Town of Batavia on September 23, 2025 at 3:49p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Freeman was previously trespassed from the CORE Plaza on January 16, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was transported to the Genesee County Jail for processing and was arraigned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">______________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dakota L. Rio, 37, of Bergen, NY, is charged with filing a false instrument 1st degree, grand larceny 4th degree and welfare fraud 4th degree, after allegedly knowingly filling forms with Genesee County DSS and unlawfully receiving public benefits totaling over $1,000 on August 13, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rio was arrested on September 23, 2025, and was arraigned in Batavia Town Court and released on recognizance. Rio will return to court on October 28th, 2025 at 10:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">______________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Juan D. Hernandez-Landa, 24, of Elba, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, operation of a motor vehicle by an unlicensed driver, moving from a lane unsafely and drinking alcohol or using cannabis in a motor vehicle on a highway on September 7th, 2025, at 3:05a.m., on Ridge Road in Elba after a motor vehicle accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Deputies say Hernandez-Landa was operating a vehicle while allegedly in an intoxicated state. He was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in Elba Town Court on October 8, 2025 at 5:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_____________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jarrod K. Fotiathis, 30, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal contempt 2nd degree after an investigation at the Genesee County Jail on September 17th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fotiathis was allegedly violating a full stay away order of protection via phone calls from jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was arraigned in Genesee County CAP Court and then arrested on the charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_______________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On September 18th, 2025, Jarrod Fotiathis, 30, of Bergen, was charged with disobeying a court mandate by allegedly communicating with the protected party while present at Bergen Town Court on September 17th, 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fotiathis was already being held at the Genesee County Jail and appeared in CAP Court for arraignment on September 18th at 7:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_____________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ramon Torres Jr., 36, of Mt. Morris, NY, is charged with petit larceny after an investigation at the Dollar General in Pavilion, NY on Big Tree Road on September 2nd, 2025 at 4:29p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Torres allegedly stole merchandise from the Dollar General Store in Pavilion, passing all points of sale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Torres was arrested on September 15th and will appear in Pavilion Town Court on October 14th, 2025 at 2:00p.m. to answer the charge.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Terrian A.
