On 1\/1\/2026, Stella M. Vandame,18, of Arkport, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree, and Petit Larceny. Vandame was charged in relation to an incident in December where she allegedly broke into a residence on Pringle Avenue. She was arraigned in CAP Court and is due in Batavia City Court at a later date. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/1\/2026, Richard F. Hull Jr., 47, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Hull allegedly pushed another person during an altercation on East Main Street. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/4\/2026, Scott E. Moore, 44, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Moore allegedly punched the windshield of another person\u2019s vehicle on Hull Park. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1\/20\/2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/8\/2025, Amy P. Rasmussen, Jessica L. Culver, and Thomas A. Culver were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The trio was arrested following a traffic stop on Main Street where narcotics were allegedly found in the vehicle. Rasmussen was also charged with another count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree in relation to another traffic stop in October where she was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. All three were issued appearance tickets and are due in court on 1\/20\/2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/5\/2026, Preston S. Daigler, 27, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a Bench Warrant. The warrant was issued after Daigler failed to appear in court on a Criminal Mischief 3rd charge for allegedly throwing a brick through the window of another person\u2019s car in July of 2025. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/1\/2026, Kevin Q. Thomas, 62, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Trespass. Thomas was charged after allegedly going to a residence on Hall Street that he had previously been trespassed from. He was arraigned in CAP Court, and an order of protection was issued. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/3\/2026, Thomas again returned to the residence on Hall Street in violation of the order of protection. He was charged with Burglary 2nd degree and Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. ________________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/1\/2026, Mark D. Hensel, 65, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Hensel allegedly grabbed and pushed another person during an altercation on East Main Street. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/1\/2026, Fedor N. Chizh, 74, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Chizh was charged following a motor vehicle accident on Hyde Park where he allegedly crashed into a road sign, a fire hydrant and a fence. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/3\/2026, Halley M. McLane, 21, of Batavia, NY. was arrested and charged with DWI. McLane was charged after allegedly being involved in a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street. She was issued several traffic tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 12\/31\/2026, Jessica D. Delcour, 43, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. The charge stems from an incident in June of 2025 where Delcour was allegedly found in possession of narcotics. She was released on an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1\/13\/2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 12\/30\/2026, Tawnya L. Muscato, 35, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Muscato was charged following a traffic stop on Woodrow Road. She was issued several traffic tickets and is due in court on 1\/13\/2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/1\/2026, Desiree L. Britt, 33, of Rochester, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Britt was charged following an investigation into a motor vehicle accident at the corner of Oak Street and Pickthorn Drive. She was issued several traffic tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Between 1\/1\/2026 and 1\/6\/2026, Elizabeth A. Lindner, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested a total of five times. Lindner was arrested twice for Trespass and three times for Soliciting after allegedly asking people for money at various locations around Batavia. She was issued appearance tickets in all five cases and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 1\/7\/2026, Samuel J. Hernandez, 23, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Petit Larceny and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Hernandez allegedly stole merchandise from The Salvation Army on Jackson Street. During his arrest, he was allegedly found in possession of crack cocaine. He was issued an appearance ticket and is due in court on 1\/20\/2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
