On June 6, 2025, the Genesee County Sheriff’s Office took a report of a sex offense that occurred in the
Town of Alabama during the summer of 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Following an investigation, Leonard Hahn IV, 26, was arrested on January 29, 2026,<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hahn was charged with rape in the first degree, a violation of New York State Penal Law section 130.35(1) N.Y. Penal Law Section 130.35 \u2013 Rape in the first degree (2026)<\/a> and was arraigned in Genesee County Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hahn, who is in the custody of the New York State Department of Corrections and Community
Supervision was returned to their custody following the arraignment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is serving a maximum of 11 years and 6 months at Fishkill and was eligible for parole in March 2026. He was convicted on two counts of rape first degree and att promoting prison contraband first degree, a class E felony. Hahn has been incarcerated since May 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Bail was placed at $100,000 cash, $200,000 insurance bond and $300,000 partially secured bond on the new charges.
