Aavion J. Bethel, 21, of Vernal Road, Middlebury, NY, is charged with assault 3rd degree and criminal mischief 4th degree after a reported domestic incident on February 8th, 2026 in Bethany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bethel allegedly struck a female victim’s head into a motor vehicle window, causing substantial pain and injury. Bethel also allegedly caused damage to the victim’s vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Bethel was arrested and held at the Genesee County Jail pending a CAP Court arraignment later that evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jose A. Martinez, 25, of Rochester, NY, is charged with falsely reporting an incident 3rd degree, trespass, harassment 2nd degree\/alarm or seriously annoy and criminal solicitation 5th degree, after allegedly walking onto a person’s property on Townline Road in Bergen and asking them to call 911 to obtain a response from law enforcement for no legitimate purpose on January 28th, 2026 at 4:56p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Martinez was also allegedly in possession of a fake firearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was transported to the Genesee County Jail and held pending a CAP Court arraignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brian J. Durney, 30, of Hutchins Place, Batavia, NY, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, obstructing governmental administration 2nd degree, illegal side wing tint, and failure to yield the right of way to an emergency vehicle on February 3, 2026 at 1:57a.m. on Ellsworth Avenue in Batavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durney allegedly led law enforcement on a low-speed pursuit and failed to listen to lawful orders and physically resisted when being taken into custody. He was also allegedly intoxicated by alcohol while operating a motor vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Durney is scheduled to appear at Batavia City Court on February 17, 2026 at 1:30p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Josia G. Culver, 21, of Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal mischief 3rd degree, after breaking a cell window while incarcerated at the Genesee County Jail on February 3rd, 2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Culver was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in the Town of Batavia Court on February 24th, 2026 at 10:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paul B. Myers, 58, of Alexander, NY, was charged with DWI, operating a motor vehicle with a BAC of .08% or more and moving from a lane unsafely on Dry Bridge Road in Alexander on January 29th, 2026 at 5:20p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Myers was issued uniform traffic tickets for all charges and was released. He is to appear in Alexander Town Court on March 3, 2026 at 5:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sobresky III, 56, of North St., Batavia, NY, is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and criminally using drug paraphernalia 2nd degree, following a probation search of his home where he was allegedly found to be in possession of cocaine and a digital scale on February 3, 2026 at 10:16a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sobresky will appear in Batavia City Court for arraignment on February 24, 2026 at 1:30p.m. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
