A Pitbull named Sadie was located inside the apartment and was found shivering against a wall. Sadie was brought out to the Mercy EMS crew on scene who provided some oxygen and Sadie appeared to be okay and went with the City of Batavia Police Department in a vehicle to keep warm until the owner was located. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An unattended space heater may be the cause of the fire.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">No one was injured in the blaze.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Thanks to an alert neighbor, the apartment house at 10 Maple street did not suffer severe damage in a working structure fire.
