On Thursday, March 5, 2026, Theodore Baldini, 56, of Onondaga County, NY, pleaded guilty before the Honorable Donald G. O\u2019Geen to the following charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

DISSEMINATING INDECENT MATERIAL TO MINORS IN THE FIRST DEGREE, a Class \u201cD\u201d Felony;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ENDANGERING THE WELFARE OF A CHILD, a Class \u201cA\u201d Misdemeanor;<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TAMPERING WITH PHYSICAL EVIDENCE, a Class \u201cE\u201d Felony.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baldini faces an indeterminate sentence of up 11 years in New York State Prison and registration as a sex offender under the Sex Offender Registration Act when he is sentenced on May 28, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Baldini pleaded guilty to the entire Indictment against him. There was no plea agreement in this case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The evidence showed that Baldini sent sexually explicit images to a 14-year-old child in January of 2025. The case was investigated by the Attica Police Department and the New York State Police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

District Attorney Vincent A. Hemming said, \u201cWhen the Defendant appears for sentencing, we will be recommending a state prison sentence. This type of conduct \u2013 sending sexually explicit materials to a child \u2013 cannot and will not be tolerated.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
