This year, more than 150 community members have registered to participate, highlighting the growing need and strong community interest in water safety education.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Splash Week is made possible through the dedication of certified swim instructors who volunteer their time to teach essential water safety and swimming skills. The program is part of the YMCA\u2019s ongoing commitment to ensuring that everyone, regardless of age or ability, has access to lifesaving swim education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-video\"><video height=\"1920\" style=\"aspect-ratio: 1080 \/ 1920;\" width=\"1080\" controls src=\"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/Splash-Week-Press-Release-1.mp4\"><\/video><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>(Provided video)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In a featured video accompanying the event, Executive Director Josh Bender and Aquatics and Youth Sports Director Emily Hirsch emphasize the importance of these efforts.
