On 4\/1\/2026, Carl E. Russo, 22, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Strangulation 2nd degree, Criminal Obstruction of Breathing, Criminal Contempt 1st degree, and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. It\u2019s alleged that over the course of several days, Russo violated an order of protection by strangling another person in the presence of two children. Russo was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n

On 3\/30\/2026, Daryl A. Leach, 44, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Burglary 2nd degree, Criminal Contempt 2nd degree, and Aggravated Family Offense. Leach allegedly illegally entered a residence in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/5\/2026, Jessica L. Shannon, 29, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Shannon was charged following a traffic stop on West Main Street. She was issued several traffic tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/3\/2026, Billy J. Johnson, 48, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Aggravated Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Johnson repeatedly called the victim at least 17 times for no legitimate reason. He was issued an appearance ticket and was due in court on 4\/14\/2026. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/4\/2026, Luis A. Martinez, 70, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with DWI. Martinez was arrested following a traffic accident in the parking lot of TF Brown\u2019s. He was arraigned in CAP Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/2\/2026, Candice M. Fiegl, 33, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Forcible Touching and Endangering the Welfare of a Child. It\u2019s alleged that Fiegl touched the intimate\/sexual body parts of a person under the age of 17. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Marsceill was found in possession of narcotics while being arrested on a warrant. She was issued an appearance ticket and released.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/2\/2026, Lyndsay T. Young, 43, of Clinton, Illinois, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Young was allegedly found in possession of narcotics during a traffic stop in August of 2024. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/1\/2026, Elizabeth A. Lindner, 39, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Lindner was allegedly found in possession of narcotics during an unrelated arrest. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 3\/30\/2026, Michelle F. Parker, 49, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Parker was allegedly found in possession of narcotics during a traffic stop on East Main Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 3\/28\/2026, Demetrius W. Richardson, 44, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Fleeing a Police Officer in a Motor Vehicle 3rd degree, Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree, and several traffic violations. It\u2019s alleged that Richardson fled from a traffic stop in a vehicle and lead police on a short pursuit before being taken into custody at an address on Bank Street. He was processed and released on appearance tickets. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 3\/31\/2026, Eric M. Rodak, 41, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Obstruction of Breathing and Harassment 2nd degree. It\u2019s alleged that Rodak pulled the victim\u2019s hair and grabbed them by the neck. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released under the supervision of Genesee Justice. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/4\/2026, Michael B. Avery, 36, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Unlawful Imprisonment 2nd degree, Criminal Mischief 4th degree and Harassment 2nd degree. Avery allegedly struck the victim and refused to let them exit a vehicle. He then allegedly took the victim\u2019s phone to prevent them from calling police. He was arraigned in CAP Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 4\/3\/2026, Bernard L. Parnell, 36, of Rochester, NY, was arrested on two Bench Warrants. The first warrant is related to an incident that occurred on Otis Street on 4\/21\/2025, where Parnell was charged with Criminal Trespass 2nd degree and Harassment 2nd degree. The other warrant is related to a larceny charge from the same day where Parnell allegedly stole merchandise from Speedway. He was arraigned in Batavia City Court and remanded to the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
