All the contents of the shop were lost in the blaze.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The owner, Lewis Bannister, suffered burns to his hand and was treated and released from WCCH.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Estimated loss is 1 million dollars and the fire is under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire companies from Gainesville, Bliss, Castile, Pike, Silver Springs, Alexander, North Java, Perry, Perry Center, Warsaw and Strykersville were on scene for about 5.5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also assisting on scene was Wyoming County Emergency Services, Wyoming County Sheriff&#8217;s Office, Wyoming Correctional, NYS DOT, NYSEG, Town of Gainesville, and the Town of Wethersfield.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Eleven fire companies responded to a reported barn fire at 5032 Rt. 78 in the Town of Gainesville on Wednesday morning about 2:30a.m. When fire crews arrived on scene the structure was fully involved.
