Grover reports the arrest of a Perry resident following a suspicious person investigation by the Perry Police Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On May 11th, 2026, The Perry Police Department arrested 43-year-old David L. Purdy following a suspicious person investigation. It was reported that Purdy allowed a seventeen-year-old to have a drink of his vodka. Purdy was arrested and charged with NYS PL. 260.20-02 Unlawfully Dealing with a Child in the First Degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Purdy was arraigned in the Perry Village Court where two full stay away orders of protection were put in place.
