Batavia, NY- The 2025 West Division Champion Batavia Muckdogs are excited to announce their next ten signings of the 2026 season. James Quintero-INF (Pomona-Pitzer Colleges), #Jeremy Ramos-OF (Binghamton University), Brayden Redmond-INF (Salisbury University), Jackson Reid-RHP (University of Waterloo), 2025 Returner Cooper Romich-C (Le Moyne College), # Jaylen Roque-INF (Thomas University), Cooper Russell-INF (Brown University), Luke Rybczynski-C (SUNY Niagara), Rafael Smith-RHP(Erie Community College), Joey Socorro-C (Tusculum University)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

James Quintero is a 6\u20191, 175-pound Sophomore Infielder from Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. Quintero broke out in 2026, appearing in 25 games and hitting .338 with 27 hits and four home runs. He also posted a .975 fielding percentage, totaling 145 putouts and 10 assists on the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jeremy Ramos is a 6\u20190, 190-pound Freshman Outfielder from Binghamton University. An All-Conference selection in high school, Ramos has made six appearances for the Bearcats this season, batting .286 with two hits and two runs scored.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brayden Redmond is a 6\u20192, 200-pound Senior Infielder from Red Lion Christian Academy. In July 2025, Redmond announced his commitment to Salisbury University. As a senior, he has recorded a .276 batting average with eight hits, 12 runs scored, and three home runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jackson Reid is a 6\u20194, 165-pound Freshman Right-handed Pitcher from the University of Waterloo. Before his collegiate career, he competed in Canadian amateur leagues. This past season, Reid has appeared twice for the Warriors, recording two strikeouts over 1.3 innings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooper Romich is a 5\u201910, 195-pound Junior Catcher from Le Moyne College. Romich rejoins the Dolphins for his third year after being named to the 2025 NEC All-Conference Second Team during his sophomore season. This season, Romich has started 34 games, batting .254, with 32 hits, 27 runs scored, and three home runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Jaylen Roque is a 6\u20194, 230-pound Freshman Infielder from Thomas University. In his freshman campaign, Roque has recorded a .365 batting average, 35 hits, 30 runs scored, and two home runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Cooper Russell, a 5\u20197, 160-pound Senior Infielder from Lakewood High School. In August 2025, Russell announced his commitment to Brown University. He also competes in travel ball with Force Ohio Coleman 17U.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Luke Rybczynski is a 6\u20190, 200-pound Freshman Catcher from SUNY Niagara. Rybczynski has appeared in 14 games this season, batting .323 with nine RBIs and 11 runs scored, while batting in nine runs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rafael Smith is a 5\u20199 180-pound Senior Right-handed Pitcher from Erie Community College. In his first season as a Kat, Smith has recorded a 9.53 ERA with 38 strikeouts and three saves across 11 appearances.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Joey Socorro is a 6\u20190, 215-pound Junior Catcher from Tusculum University. Prior to transferring to Tusculum, Socorro played at Mercer County Community College, where he appeared in 40 games and batted .319 with 46 hits, including five home runs, and 41 RBIs. He earned All-Conference Second Team honors and was named to the All-Academic Team. Socorro has appeared in four games during his time at Tusculum Opening Day is Saturday<\/p>\n\n\n\n
