Jeremy R. Armstrong, age 26, has been arrested on a City Court Arrest Warrant for Attempted Murder 2nd<\/sup> and Criminal Use of a Firearm 1st<\/sup> in relation to the shooting incident which occurred on Jackson St. on 12\/02\/2016.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The victim was shot by Armstrong several times at a close distance. The victim, who was familiar with Armstrong, was treated at a local hospital. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Armstrong was located outside of a family member\u2019s residence in East Hartford, Connecticut on 02\/28\/2017 and taken into custody without incident. <\/strong><\/p>\n

City Detectives have been working closely with the East Hartford, Connecticut Police Department after learning Armstrong may have been in that area. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Armstrong will be held in Connecticut pending an extradition hearing. <\/strong><\/p>\n

The Batavia Police Department would like to thank the East Hartford, Connecticut Police Department, South Windsor, Connecticut Police Department, Hartford, Connecticut Police Department, New Britain, Connecticut Police Department, Genesee County Sheriff\u2019s Office and the New York State Police for their assistance in the investigation.
