Batavia man on June 25, 2026, as a result of a 9 month<br>investigation into the possession, transportation and sale of crack cocaine and fentanyl in and around the City class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Bennie Wright AKA &#8220;Beans&#8221;, 41, of Central Avenue, Batavia, NY was charged with the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class B-Felony (4 counts)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 3rd degree, a Class A-Felony (4 counts)<br><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wright was arrested on a sealed indictment warrant in which it is alleged that Wright sold quantities of crack cocaine<br>to an agent of the Genesee County Drug Task Force on multiple occasions in the City of Batavia.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wright was arraigned in Genesee County Court and released under supervision.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Genesee County Drug Task Force was assisted by Genesee County Sheriff s Deputies and Investigators,<br>City of Batavia Police NET officers and the Genesee County
