On 7\/2\/2026, James E Wroten, 59, of Batavia, NY, was arrested for Burglary 2nd degree and Criminal Contempt 1st degree. Wroten was allegedly found inside a residence in violation of an order of protection. He was arraigned in CAP Court at the Genesee County Jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/6\/2026, Rosemary R. Waters, 40, of Batavia, NY, was arrested on a warrant for Promoting Prison Contraband 1st degree and Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Waters was located on Ellicott Street and arrested on the warrant. During the arrest, she was found in possession of cocaine. She was additionally charged with another count of Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. She was taken to the Genesee County Jail and arraigned. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/29\/2026, Crystal L. Marsceill, 45, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Marsceill was arrested following a traffic stop on Washington Avenue, where she was allegedly found in possession of cocaine. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/29\/2026, Kailey Williams, 18, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Williams was charged after police responded to Tim Horton\u2019s on Main Street for the report of multiple people fighting in the women\u2019s bathroom. Williams allegedly struck multiple people. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/26\/2026, Jesse J. Kessens, 20, and Brandon C. Powell, 27, both of Batavia, NY, were each charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Kessens and Powell were charged following an altercation at a residence on West Main Street, where they each struck another person. Powell also allegedly damaged a TV. He was additionally charged with Criminal Mischief 4th degree. Both were issued appearance tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/30\/2026, Kristen R. Aquino, 42, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Aquino allegedly grabbed and shoved another person during an altercation on Maple Street. She was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Difrancesco failed to supervise a two-year-old child, allowing the child to get out of the house and walk into the street while Difranceso was inside playing video games. He was issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 6\/30\/2026, Richard L. Nicometo, 29, and Daniel J. Nicometo, 27, no address provided, were arrested and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree. Both were charged following a traffic stop on Main Street, where they were allegedly found in possession of narcotics. They were each issued an appearance ticket and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s alleged that Radford attempted to run another person over with her car during an altercation in the parking lot of Tops on West Main Street. She was arraigned in CAP Court. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/6\/2026, Sarah A. Malone, 44, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with two counts of Criminal Contempt 2nd degree. The charges are related to two separate incidents on 6\/26\/2026 and 6\/28\/2026, where Malone allegedly went to a residence on Raymond Avenue in violation of an order of protection. She was arraigned in Batavia City Court and released on her own recognizance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/4\/2026, David F. Woods, 23, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Obstructing Governmental Administration 2nd degree and numerous vehicle and traffic charges. Woods was stopped on Ellicott Street for speeding. Woods then allegedly attempted to walk away from the vehicle. After an investigation, it was determined that Woods was operating the vehicle with switched plates, no insurance and no inspection. He was issued multiple traffic tickets and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

On 7\/6\/2026, Ted E. Kingsley, 53, of Batavia, NY, was arrested and charged with Harassment 2nd degree. Kingsley allegedly threatened another person during an altercation on Washington Avenue. He was arraigned in CAP Court and released. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
