Ficarella, 25, of Darien, NY, is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment 2nd degree and harassment 2nd degree\/physical contact, after a physical dispute with a person. He allegedly refused to allow the person to freely leave the residence at an address on Genesee Street in Darien on July 15th, 2026, at 8:59a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ficarella was held for CAP Court arraignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">_______________________________________________________________________________________________________<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Josiah M. Smith, 48, of Batavia, NY, was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th degree and aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle 3rd degree on July 3rd, 2026 on Alexander Road in Alexander, NY at 1:00a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smith was allegedly in possession of alprazolam, a controlled substance, that was not prescribed to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Smith was transported to the Genesee County Jail and released on an appearance ticket.
