This can occur during significant water main repairs and subsequent pressure drops in a system. The issue is temporary and will naturally be resolved as the affected water passes through the distribution network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Guidance for Residents:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If you notice discoloration or sediment, run your cold water taps.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Let the water run for a few minutes until it flows completely clear.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Town of Batavia Water Department continues to monitor water quality closely to ensure it meets all health and safety standards.
