On February 10, 2019, at 12:05 a.m., Troopers out of SP Batavia arrested Richard Lewis, 57, of Batavia, for driving while intoxicated, and unsafe backing of a vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troopers responded to the parking lot of the Willow Bend Inn for a report of a property damage accident. While interviewing the operator, Lewis, an odor of an alcoholic beverage was detected. Lewis was placed under arrest after failing multiple field sobriety tests and transported to State Police Barracks in Batavia where he provided a breath sample of .14 BAC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lewis was issued traffic tickets returnable to the town of Batavia court for February 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
