PERRY, NY \u2014 Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of Brandon M. Ross, 52, of Perry, following an incident that occurred in the Village of Perry on August 13, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perry Police responded to the scene following a third-party report of a domestic incident. Upon arrival, Ross allegedly brandished a weapon and menaced a responding officer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross was charged with New York Penal Law \u00a7 120.16 (Menacing a Police Officer) and two counts of New York Penal Law \u00a7 260.10 (Endangering the Welfare of a Child).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross was arraigned on August 18, 2026, before the Honorable Judge Kelsey. He was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $20,000 cash bail, $40,000 bond, or $80,000 partially secured bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ross is scheduled to return to court on September 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

(All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

PERRY, NY \u2014 Chief Michael J. Grover reports the arrest of Joel R. Landcastle, 43, of Geneva, following an investigation into an alleged violation of a complete stay-away order of protection issued by Perry Village Court at an earlier date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the course of the investigation, police determined through phone records that Landcastle allegedly continued to contact the victim despite the order of protection. The investigation also determined that Landcastle allegedly followed the victim to multiple locations and photographed her vehicle. These alleged violations occurred after Landcastle’s previous arrest, at which time he was issued a full stay-away order of protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landcastle was charged with New York Penal Law \u00a7 215.50, Criminal Contempt in the Second Degree, for allegedly violating the court order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landcastle was arraigned on August 18, 2026, before the Honorable Judge Kelsey. He was remanded to the Wyoming County Jail on $5,000 cash bail, $10,000 bond, or $20,000 partially secured bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Landcastle is scheduled to return to court on September 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
