On August 20, 2026, Chief Michael Grover announces the arrests of two individuals following an investigation into the unauthorized activation of water service at a residence in the Village of Perry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 18, 2026, John Macaulay,55, was arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering following an investigation that determined he allegedly turned on water service at the residence without authorization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On August 20, 2026, Jennifer Boutwell,44, was arrested and charged with Criminal Tampering and Theft of Services. The investigation determined that Boutwell allegedly asked and\/or paid Macaulay to unlawfully restore water service to the residence during the incident that occurred on August 3, 2026.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Both Macaulay and Boutwell were issued appearance tickets and are scheduled to appear in the Village of Perry Court on September 8, 2026, at 1:00 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
