George Borrello, local officials, veterans, community members and the family and friends of Lt. Gary A. Scott on Thursday for a ceremony honoring the life, military service and ultimate sacrifice of the Le Roy native and U.S. Army officer who gave his life during the Vietnam War.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ceremony included the unveiling of a commemorative sign along Route 19, just past Fort Hill Farm and across from Parmelee Road, recognizing Lt. Scott and his service to the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Scott, a Le Roy native, was just 22 years old when he made the ultimate sacrifice in service to his country.
