Charles Bozzette, 34, of\u00a0 S. Main St., Perry, is charged with rape 3rd after allegedly having sexual intercourse with a 16 year old female at a residence in the Village of Perry.<\/p>\n
Bozzette was arraigned in the Village of Perry Court and remanded to the Wyoming County Jail in lieu of $20,000 bail.<\/p>\n
The Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office was assisted by the Perry Police Department and the Warsaw Police Department<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office received a report of a vehicle in the ditch on Sierk Rd. in the Town of Bennington on March 15, 2017.<\/p>\n
Deputy Previty arrived on location and spoke with the driver, John M. Chaplin, 35, of Attica who stated that he drove off the roadway to avoid a deer.<\/p>\n
Further investigation showed Chaplin was driving while intoxicated. He was arrested and brought to the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Office for a breath test.<\/p>\n
Chaplin is charged with the following Uniform Traffic Tickets: Moved from lane unsafely, DWI\/misdemeanor and driving with a BAC of .08% or more\/misdemeanor.<\/p>\n
Chaplin was released to a sober third party and is to appear in the Town of Bennington Court on a later date.<\/p>\n

A Scottsville man was arrested on a Wyoming County Family Court warrant early Wednesday morning after turning himself in at the Village of Leroy Police Department.<\/p>\n
Wesley Goerss ,26, of Fairview Road, Scottsville, N.Y. ,was transported to Wyoming County where he was arraigned before Village of Warsaw Justice Blythe.<\/p>\n
Goerss was jailed on $500 bail and is scheduled to re-appear\u00a0 in Wyoming County Family Court at a later date.<\/p>\n
