On March 13, 2019, Troopers out of SP Warsaw arrested Shane D. Vasile, 52, of Warsaw, for driving while ability impaired by drugs and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Troopers initiated a traffic stop for failing to use a turn signal within 100 feet on Route 19, town of Middlebury.\u00a0 Standard field sobriety tests were administered and it was determined Vasile was allegedly impaired by drugs.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Marijuana, crack cocaine and hydrocodone pills were seized from the vehicle. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vasile was transported to SP Warsaw and was evaluated by a Drug Recognition Expert (DRE) from the Wyoming County Sheriff\u2019s Department.\u00a0 He was arraigned at the town of Warsaw court and\u00a0Judge Errington remanded him to Wyoming County jail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vasile is scheduled to return to the Town of Warsaw court on April 15, 2019 at 5:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
