Ryan C. Northrup, 35, of Chamberlain St., Rochester, was arrested after allegedly attempting to avoid a vehicle checkpoint being conducted by the Sheriff’s Office on Rt. 33 in Bergen on March 24, 2019 4:36 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northrup pulled into a driveway and missed the driveway and struck a drainage culvert causing damage. He then left the scene of the property damage accident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northrup was then pulled over and found to have a revoked NYS driver’s license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation 2nd, mandatory suspension, operating without an ignition interlock device. leaving the scene of a property damage accident and unlicensed operator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northrup was arraigned in the Town of Bergen Court and jailed on $1,000 cash bond. While being processed at the Genesee County Jail, Northrup was arrested for introducing dangerous contraband into the jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He allegedly had a quantity of a white substance tucked into his wallet. The substance was tested and was positive as Fentanyl.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Northrup was additionally charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th. He was arraigned in City Court and jailed without bail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

He will appear in the Town of Bergen Court on the checkpoint incident on April 17, 2019 at 3:00p.m. Northrup will re-appear in City Court at a later time and date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
