Separate pavement work on<br>Lewiston Road will also begin that day and affect traffic over multiple days.<br>Culvert Replacement and Road Closures<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Crews will replace a badly damaged cross culvert at the Lewiston Road and Lockport Road intersection.<br>The project is expected to take one day and will require closures at the following locations:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"\">Lewiston Road, approaching from the school: Closed at Macomber Road.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Lewiston Road, approaching from the west: Closed at the Knowlesville Road crossing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li class=\"\">Lockport Road, approaching from the east: Closed at Bliss Road.<br>Motorists should plan alternate routes while the closures are in effect.<br>Lewiston Road Pavement Repairs<br><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Also beginning Monday, October 26, crews will repair sections of Lewiston Road between Route 77 and<br>the Lockport Road intersection.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The work, known as \u201ctrue and leveling,\u201d involves using a paver to place hot-mix asphalt in areas needing<br>repair. These repairs will help prevent existing pavement holes from worsening over the winter and<br>prepare the road for a planned surface treatment next year.<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This work will not require a complete road closure, but motorists should expect slower traffic and<br>delays.
