Richard White Jr., 37, of High St., Brockport, is charged with vehicular assault 2nd, aggravated unlicensed operation 1st, driving with a BAC of .08% or more, DWI, operating a vehicle impaired by alcohol and drugs combined and following too closely after an investigation into a motor vehicle accident that occurred on North Bergen road in the Town of Byron on February 15, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

According to the Genesee County Sheriff\u2019s Office, the John Deere farm tractor was hauling a Kuhn-Knight manure spreader eastbound on North Bergen road, when a 2015 Dodge Pro Master van, also, traveling eastbound, approached the older model John Deere from behind, striking the rear end of the Kuhn-Knight manure spreader. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The impact caused the manure spreader to separate from the tractor. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

White was allegedly operating a motor vehicle while his license was suspended and was allegedly intoxicated and under the influence of a drug.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a result of the crash, a passenger in the van, Paul W. Tuttle, of Bergen suffered serious physical injuries<\/p>\n\n\n\n

White was arraigned in Byron Town Court and was released on recognizance. He will re-appear in court on a later date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
