{"id":8599,"date":"2019-04-08T16:32:45","date_gmt":"2019-04-08T20:32:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/?p=8599"},"modified":"2019-04-08T16:32:54","modified_gmt":"2019-04-08T20:32:54","slug":"wyoming-county-arcade-fire-in-garage-spreads-into-home-causing-extensive-damage-two-cats-die","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/videonewsservice.net\/index.php\/2019\/04\/08\/wyoming-county-arcade-fire-in-garage-spreads-into-home-causing-extensive-damage-two-cats-die\/","title":{"rendered":"WYOMING COUNTY\/Arcade\/Fire in garage spreads into home causing extensive damage, two cats die"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A fire that started in an attached garage caused extensive damage to a home at 6880 Northwoods Road in the Town of Arcade late on Sunday evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire crews from Arcade, Strykersville, Sheldon, North Java, Yorkshire and Chaffee Sardina were called to the scene about 11:11p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Sparks from a welder caught material in the attached garage on fire, the fire then extended into the house causing $150,000 in damages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Two cats were lost in the blaze. No people were injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The occupants of the home, Christopher Leonardi and Erica Lockwood will be staying with family members. The owner of the home is Carol Leonardi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Fire crews were on scene for about 3 hours.
