Jerrol P. Newell, 49, of E. Main St., Corfu, is charged with DWI, driving with a BAC of .18%, following too closely, unlicensed operation and leaving the scene of a property damage accident after his pick up truck struck a car in the area of Wortendyke road at Rt. 33 on April 13, 2019 at 1:52p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Newell did not stop after the accident and continued traveling west on Rt. 33. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The operator that Newell hit followed him and called 9-1-1.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Newell was stopped by Deputies and after a brief investigation was charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was released on appearance tickets and will appear in the Batavia Town Court on May 16, 2019 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amanda L. Mcewan, 25, of S. Main St., Batavia, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana, operating a vehicle without stop lamps and operating a motor vehicle without a proper license after a traffic stop on Clinton street in Batavia on April 13, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mcewan was allegedly found to be in possession of a quantity of THC oil during the traffic stop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was issued appearance tickets and will appear in City Court on April 24, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ryan J. Monnell, 31, of E. Oneida St., Baldwinsville, NY, is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and a muffler violation after a traffic stop on Rt. 19 in Bergen on April 9, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Monnell allegedly possessed a quantity of marijuana in the vehicle he was operating.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was issued an appearance ticket on the marijuana charge and the traffic violation and will appear in the Town of Bergen Court on May 8, 2019 at 5:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
