A Genesee County Grand Jury has indicted Jeremy R. Armstrong, 26, of Batavia, in the December 2, 2016 shooting on Jackson street that injured a person.<\/p>\n

The victim was shot by Armstrong several times at a close distance. The victim, who was familiar with Armstrong, was treated at a local hospital. <\/strong><\/p>\n

Armstrong is accused of attempted murder 2nd, assault 1st, criminal use of a firearm 1st(2 counts), all class B felonies, and criminal possession of a weapon 2nd(two counts), a class C felony.<\/p>\n

Armstrong was picked up on a warrant outside of a family member\u2019s residence in East Hartford, Connecticut on February 28, 2017 and taken into custody without incident. <\/strong><\/p>\n
