Lisa L. Lyons, 42, of Alexander Rd., Attica, was arrested and charged with two counts of misconduct in relation to petitions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lyons allegedly subscribed as a witness to a petition for the designation of herself as the Republican candidate for the upcoming Town Clerk of Alexander position.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident occurred on April 1, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is alleged that Lyons did not witness all signatures of the filed petition, thereby making a false statement or affidavit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She was issued an appearance ticket and will appear in City Court on May 21, 2019 at 1:30p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
