Wilson, 21, of State St., Batavia, is charged with promoting prison contraband 1st, conspiracy 5th and criminal possession of a controlled substance 7th following an investigation into alleged smuggling of contraband into the Genesee County Jail on January 19, 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">It is alleged that Wilson delivered a quantity of a controlled substance into the jail in a concealed manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wilson was released on an appearance ticket and will return to City Court on May 20, 2019 at 1:00p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">{NOTE:  The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
