Robert O. Taft, 45, of State St., Batavia, is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, after an investigation into the sale and possession of crack cocaine in and around the City of Batavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taft allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force on two separate occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Taft was arrested on May 16, 2019. He was arraigned in Genesee County Court and jailed without bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UPDATE: Bail has been set at $20,000 cash and $40,000 bond after a court appearance in Genesee County Court on May 17, 2019.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
