Pembroke, NY \u2013 On May 19, 2019, at approximately 1:24 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on I-90 for vehicle and traffic violation. The driver of the vehicle, Eduardo Santiago<\/strong>, 53, of Rochester, NY, was found to be intoxicated while traveling with his 3-year-old child. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Santiago was taken into custody, transported, and processed at SP Henrietta.\u00a0\u00a0 The child was turned over to a responsible party.\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n {NOTE: The fact that a defendant has been charged with a crime is merely an accusation, and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty. Santiago\u2019s blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.14% and he was subsequently charged with Driving While Intoxicated with a Child in the Vehicle; a Class E Felony and Vehicle and Traffic Violations.\u00a0 He was turned over to a sober third party with appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Pembroke Court on May 28, 2019 at 4:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
