Male victim shot during altercation on Jackson street<\/p>\n

PRESS RELEASE<\/p>\n

On 12\/02\/2016 at about 4:00pm, a male victim arrived at UMMC ER with apparent gunshot wounds. He was treated and then transferred to ECMC.<\/p>\n

During the investigation it was learned that the victim had a verbal altercation, with a person whom he knew, in the area of 107 Jackson St.<\/p>\n

During this altercation, the suspect, described as a light skinned black male, about 5\u201910\u201d to 6\u201d tall, used a handgun to shoot the victim.<\/p>\n

If anyone has information on this incident you are asked to call Det. Sgt. Crossett at 345-6353<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
