Carlos Samol aka “Sinbad”, 54, of Elm St., Batavia, is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance 3rd and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance 3rd, both class B felonies, after a 6 month investigation into the possession , transportation and sale of crack cocaine in and around the City of Batavia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samol was taken into custody on Saturday morning June 15, 2019 on a sealed indictment warrant by Batavia Police Officers while they were investigating an unrelated matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Samol allegedly sold a quantity of crack cocaine to an agent of the Genesee County Local Drug Task Force on two separate occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He was arraigned in Genesee County Court today and was remanded to the jail with bail set at $15,000 cash and $30,000 bond bail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Task Force members were assisted by the Genesee County District Attorney’s Office and Batavia Police Officers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
